When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Sort of a speedpaint...kinda. I just wanted to experiment with stuff, especially textures and details. I also tried going for a slightly warmer scheme, as I'm really bad about doing nothing but cool color schemed things.
I stumbled upon a lovely tutorial for digital artists to make their own textures, found here. I'm definitely taking advantage of this from now on! Comments

You got the colors, there's also a nice casual sense of reality and relaxation in this work--you're where you need to be without straining. You're confident in a different expression, the fish looks realistic without being repellent.
 Realistic clownfish are realistic! I'm sure you musta been checking with refs on those! They look so spiffy!
-- Difference between a writer and the insane. One gets paid to tell others about the voices in their head.  That is pretty awesome! The coloring looks really great and I'm liking the texturing where the light hits her. That's one really well done clownfish, as well!
 Thank you muchly! I tried putting in as much texture as I could on this one, though I'm not completely satisfied with it. Ah well, it was the first texture I made; I'd like to make some paper-like textures in the near future.
Thank you! Glad you think they look realistic; I did use refs for all three of them, but I was afraid they'd look too plastic-like.
