Though I’ve participated in NaNo for the past two years, I’m not goin’ for it this year. I plan on picking it up again, so it’s not like I’m never going to participate ever again. However, for this year, I’m going to opt out of it. Sounds so lame, I know, but I’m never confident enough to post the writing on dA and personally, I’m a bit paranoid (writing can get ripped a lot easier than art with watermarks). Keh’s furious at me because he’s always one of the main characters in my NaNo participations, but many who know him understand he can be a bit spoiled (I’m ridiculously fond of the dork, so maybe I baby him).

Instead of participating in NaNo, I’m going to focus that energy on something that will be submitted—that being a few series I’m not going to fall short on as well as character redesigns and character sheets. I’ve focused so much on improvementimprovementimprovement that I’ve lost a bit of the fun that comes with art. I’m beginning to rediscover that, thankfully.

As a few have noticed (if anyone watches my scraps), the Fehrin sequence I was working on definitely fell through. I haven’t given up on it completely, but it’s going to be pushed back a bit along with his story. With that said, I’m picking up Sain’s tf (I know, months later after that poll) and all of his flats are completed, so he’ll probably be done within the next few days. After that, I’m going to focus on some more character redesigns and yadayada.

Last week was insane, though. Needless to say, the situation was resolved—all I’m saying about said situation is that some college kids need to grow the eff up. Save the drama for your mama/llama. Or mama-llama. Whichever’s preferred.

Also, L4D2 is coming out.

I'm uncharacteristically excited for it, though I'm so unamused there's no Louis (PIIIIIIIILLLLS). However, Ellis' hilarious southern accent will probably make me as amused as Louis' pill-grabbing. It makes me excited that it's going to come out soon.
